ABOUT CAELYN
Caelyn Batac is a 17-year-old Canadian Muay Thai athlete who has shown exceptional dedication and skill in the sport. This year marks her fourth consecutive year representing Canada at the international level. She won gold at the 2022 IFMA Grand Slam in Malaysia, followed by bronze medals at both the 2023 and 2024 IFMA Youth World Championships.
Caelyn is also a two-time TBA (Thai Boxing Association) Champion and a Canadian National Silver Medalist. Most recently, she competed in Monster Promotion’s Night of the Champion, where she won the Pin Weight Championship belt.
With eight years of Muay Thai training behind her, Caelyn has now earned the honour of representing Canada as an adult athlete at the 2025 IFMA Senior World Championship.

The 2025 IFMA (International Federation of Muaythai Associations) World Championship will take place in Antalya, Turkey from May 21-20, bringing together the top Muay Thai athletes from around the world to compete at the highest level of the sport. As one of the most prestigious events on the international Muay Thai calendar, it serves as a crucial stepping stone toward global recognition and qualification for future multi-sport events like the World Games.
IFMA is the official governing body for amateur Muay Thai worldwide, recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and responsible for organizing international competitions like the IFMA World Championship and for promoting the sport globally with an emphasis on discipline, respect, and cultural heritage.
